When I started Teabeer Comics it was to be a web comics group. But over time I realized i couldn’t do it really. As i went into print I decided I’d continue to publish under the teabeer banner. But i will continue to host my less frequent web comics on teabeer as well. and host an ocassional friends webcomic. but mostly this is all the print and stuff like that.

So this is the new face. isn’t it a nice face? lol

Otaku Punks Rise up to the challenge!

[Jan.12 2009] Today, Andeh Pinkard’s “Shonen Punk!” (http://www.shonenpunk.com) Has started it’s 1st ongoing print run. Plans are to continue collecting the further adventures of Chiitsu Pinkada and his cohorts of the Shonen Punk tactical defense unit, The Protectors of all students and civilians in the city-sized Veltar Academy.

Picking up where Vol.1 left off last summer, Shonen Punk #1 starts on the fast foot, beginingthe Fight!Fight!Fight!/Wives tournament Story Arc. Shonen Punk’s Eva Pinkada was a humanoid-type OS A.I construct who was madly in love with team captain Chiitsu Pinkada. It has been a year since her demise, her friends and family have come to terms with her passing and are finally enjoying a few moments of peace. But with the arrival of a new A.I construct and a deranged Pirate Club president, Chiitsu soon finds his life spiraling out of control. Can Chiitsu take control of his life before it’s too late?

Andeh Pinkard says “Shonen Punk was always a series that I really liked a lot. I feel it brought back a lot of zaniness that I miss from comics these days. I always looked at Shonen Punk as my personal homage to Martin and Hewlett’s Tankgirl, Evan Dorkin’s run on Bill & Ted’s excellent comicbook and my love for all the niche anime and manga tropes. I feel that Shonen Punk is over the top and sometimes ridiculous, Just how comics should be!”

Chiitsu’s dream girl gone horribly awry goes by the name of Eva! In teh blink of an eye his life goes from plain old boring to a becoming like that of a pocket universe of utter chaos & anarchy. Everything from giant robots, catgirls, stalkers and psycho ex-girlfriends Come barging into his life. It’ll be a miracle if Chiitsu can even make it out of all this alive!
